Village Hall Closed for Presidents Day

The Village Hall will be closed Feb 16th in observance of Presidents Day. The office will reopen Tues. the 17th for regular business hours.
FCCLA Blood Drive

FCCLA will be hosting a blood drive on Wed, February 18th from 10am to 4pm in the Wayne City High School performance gym. To schedule an appt, please visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code: WAYNEHS or call 1-800-RED CROSS. Come out and make a life saving donation.

Our next meeting will be on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in knowing what was discussed in previous board meetings or what is on the agenda, please look under the Agendas and Minutes tab. Minutes from previous meetings will be posted as they are approved.

Preschool Screening
Begins: 4/16/2026 - 8:30am

The Wayne City School Unit #100 is conducting Preschool Screening for Birth to 5 year old children not yet enrolled in public schools and who are not kingergarten eligible for the 2026-2027 school year. The screening checks each child's progress in hearing, vision, speech, language, and coordination skills. Families are encouraged to bring their childs current physical, dental, and eye exam records, immunization records, and birth certificates to the screening. This screening program is free and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. Pre-K personnel will also be present to explain their program and other services available in the area. Screenings will be held at the Wayne City Baptist Church on April 16 from 8:30-2:30 and April 17 from 8:30-12:00. Appointments are required. Spring Town Wide Rummage Sales

The Village of Wayne City has scheduled the Spring Townwide Rummage Sales for Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd. Call the Village Hall by Tuesday Apr 28th at 895-2241 if you want your name to be put on the sales list & map. These will be available to pick up at the Village Hall and at local businesses on Wed. Apr.29th.
Clean up day will be the following Monday May 4th. A list of items that can be set out can be picked up at Village Hall. All items must be curbside.
