WCHS CLASS OF 2024 FALL VENDOR MARKET

Begins: 9/30/2023 - 9:00am
Ends: 9/30/2023 - 2:00 pm

The WCHS Class of 2024 will be hosting a Fall Vendor Market September 30th from 9am to 3pm at the Church of the Harvest building.  This is an inside event with outside space available if you have a trailer.  Call Angie Kelly @ 618/246-8388 or Connie McNeil @ 618/895-4918 if your interested in being a vendor and they will get you the contract.  Proceeds will go to benefit the Class of 2024 for their senior trip to Washington D.C. Deadline to register is September 15, 2023. Call Angie or Connie with any questions.

Village Board Meeting Reminder

Just a friendly reminder - Village of Wayne City Board Meetings are held monthly. Our next meeting will be on Monday, Oct 2nd at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in knowing what was discussed in previous board meetings or what is on the agenda, please look under the Agendas and Minutes tab.  Minutes from previous meetings will be posted as they are approved. 

WCHD Adult Flu Clinic

The Wayne County Health Department will be holding an Adult Flu Clinic on Tuesday, October 5th in the Wayne City Community Building from 11am to 1 pm.  $30 or insurance accepted.  Follow them on Facebook.

Fall TownWide Rummage Sales

Begins: 10/6/2023
Ends: 10/7/2023

The Village of Wayne City has scheduled the Fall Townwide Rummage Sales for Friday and Saturday, Oct  6th and 7th.  Call the Village Hall by Tuesday Oct 3rd at 895-2241 if you want your name to be put on the sales list & map. These will be available at the Village Hall and at local businesses on Wed Oct 4th.

There is no clean up day in the fall. 

WAYNE CITY MATTERS FALL CARNIVAL

Begins: 10/29/2023 - 4:00 PM
Ends: 10/29/2023 - 7:00 PM

Wayne City Matters Fall Carnival will be Oct 29th, 4pm to 7pm. Bring your little ghosts and goblins out for a fun evening at the Baptist Church parking lot in Wayne City  There will be fun activities, carnival games, & prizes. Costume judging will be 5-6pm for all ages with cash prizes & trophies for winners in each category.  There will be food & drinks for purchase.  Church of the Harvest will be hosting the cake walk from 4-5pm at the parking lot.  Also Trunk Or Treat will be at the Wayne City School Parking lot from 6-7pm. Movie Under the Stars

Wayne City FFA is hosting a movie night,, Oct 29th directly after Trunk or Treat at the west parking lot at Wayne City School.  Join them for "Hocus Pocus".  Bring lawn chairs/ loungers/ blankets for a fun evening under the stars.  Hope to see everyone there!

TRICK OR TREAT NIGHT

The Village of Wayne City has set this year's trick or treat hours for Oct. 31st from 5-8 pm.  Please leave your porch light on if you welcome the little trick or treaters.
