Feeding Kids of Wayne County @ Wayne City Park

Feeding Kids of Wayne County is a non profit organization headed by Mindy Otey, where local churches ,businesses, and organizations provide sack lunches to feed the children of our communitys that are in need. Sack lunches will be distributed at Wayne City Park from 11-11:30 am. on Mondays, May 25th thru August 7th at NO COST. This will be for children ages 2-18 years of age. Each lunch will include a sandwich, chips, fruit, and a treat, along with a drink. No need to sign up, just show up!
Village Hall closed for Independence Day

The Village Hall will be closed Friday, July3rd in observance of Independence Day. The office will reopen Monday. the 6th for regular business hours.
Independence Day Week Trash Schedule
Begins: 7/3/2026
Ends: 7/3/2026
For the week prior to Independence Day, all business and residential trash pickup will be on regular schedule. Residents need to have trash set out on Thursday night or by 5am Friday morning as usual for Friday, July 3rd pickup.

Just a friendly reminder - Village of Wayne City Board Meetings are held monthly. Our next meeting will be on Monday, July 6th at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in knowing what was discussed in previous board meetings or what is on the agenda, please look under the Agendas and Minutes tab. Minutes from previous meetings will be posted as they are approved.
