FCC Red Cross Blood Drive

First Christian Church in Wayne City will be hosting an upcoming blood drive. If you would like to join this lifesaving mission, schedule an appointment today through the American Red Cross at www.redcrossblood.org.  This event will be held Tuesday, April 28th from 2pm to 6pm in the fellowship hall.

FFA Spring Plant Sale

The Wayne City High School will be holding their annual Spring Plant Sale starting Thursday, April 20th, and May 1st & 2nd.  This will be in the greenhouse next to the school. Cash, check and credit card will be accepted..Come support the FFA and  load up on all the beautiful flowers and plants they have to offer.

Spring Town Wide Rummage Sales

The Village of Wayne City has scheduled the Spring Townwide Rummage Sales for Friday May 2nd and Saturday May 3rd.  Call the Village Hall by Tuesday Apr 28th at 895-2241 if you want your name to be put on the sales list & map. These will be available to pick up at the Village Hall and at local businesses on Wed. Apr.29th.

Clean up day will be the following Monday May 4th. A list of items that can be set out will be available at Village Hall.  All items must be curbside.

Wayne City Matters Teen Night

Ends: 5/2/2026 - 7:00 pm

Wayne City Matters will once again host a Teen Night for high school and college kids, Saturday, May 2nd..  Meet at the WC Baptist Church at 5:30pm to register to win prizes. From 5:30-7pm the kids will go to different locations through out town and play games to earn tickets.  From 7-8pm, they will meet at the Baptist Church for food and drinks and enter your tickets into the drawing for prizes. Over $2,000 in prizes will be given away!

Our next meeting will be on Monday, May 4th at 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in knowing what was discussed in previous board meetings or what is on the agenda, please look under the Agendas and Minutes tab.  Minutes from previous meetings will be posted as they are approved. 

Wayne City Townwide Clean Up Day

Wayne City Townwide Clean up day will be Monday, May 4th.  A list of items that can and cannot be picked up will be available at Village Hall.

All items must be curbside.

Feeding Kids of Wayne County @ Wayne City Park

Feeding Kids of Wayne County is a non profit organization headed by Mindy Otey, where local churches ,businesses, and organizations provide sack lunches to feed the children of our communitys that are in need.  Sack lunches will be distributed at Wayne City Park from 11-11:30 am. on Mondays, May 25th thru August 7th at NO COST.  This will be for children ages 2-18 years of age.  Each lunch will include a sandwich, chips, fruit, and a treat, along with a drink.  No need to sign up, just show up!
